Our Production Processes

As Alesta Naturel, we carry out every stage of plywood and film faced plywood production at our own facility. From raw material selection to the shipment of the final product, our meticulously applied production processes consist of 7 main stages. In the conditioning (heat treatment) stage, logs are softened in hot water pools or steam pools, and color homogeneity is achieved. In the peeling stage, conditioned logs are sliced into thin veneer sheets using precision blades. In the drying stage, veneers are dried in controlled environments until the moisture content drops to 6–8%. In the gluing stage, dried veneers are bonded together with special adhesives. In the pressing stage, glued panels are pressed under high pressure to gain strength. In the sizing stage, pressed panels are cut to the desired dimensions according to customer requirements. In the lamination stage, panels are finished with a surface coating according to demand. We maintain our sustainable production approach at every stage by using FSC-certified raw materials. At our modern facility in Sakarya Dokurcun, we manufacture to European standards and offer quality products to domestic and international markets.
