Alesta Naturel’s plywood production facility in Sakarya Akyazı is a modern facility where all production processes from raw material to finished product are carried out under one roof. Our continuously developing infrastructure since 2005 enables us to manufacture plywood, film faced plywood, and veneer to European standards.
Production Facility Infrastructure
Our plywood production facility in Akyazı is designed to respond quickly to industry needs with its large production area and high-capacity machinery. Every stage from log intake and quality control to cutting and packaging is carried out within the same facility.
The main equipment used in our facility includes: high-precision peeling machines that ensure superior surface quality in veneer production; controlled drying ovens that maintain moisture content at optimum levels; high-pressure pressing systems that increase panel strength; and automatic cutting lines that offer precise production in standard and custom dimensions.
Production Capacity and Flexibility
At our Akyazı plywood production facility, we carry out custom production in standard dimensions of 2500×1250, 2440×1220, and 2200×1700 mm primarily, as well as thicknesses up to 4–70 mm for each. We have the production capacity to manufacture veneer and plywood in five different wood species: beech, poplar, birch, pine, and alder. We offer custom thickness, dimension, and surface finishing options according to customer requirements.
Quality Control Processes
Every batch produced at our facility undergoes comprehensive testing for compliance with European quality standards. Dimensional tolerance, surface smoothness, structural durability, and moisture resistance tests are regularly applied. Thanks to our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and TSE certified production infrastructure, we fully meet international export requirements.
